PRE CEREMONY GUIDELINES

ATTIRE & ACCESSORIES

Bring socks and wear loose clothing and layers as your body temperature may change. Any favorite pillow and blanket for your own comfort is encouraged – please bring them!

Please bring your own refillable water bottle.

DIET RESTRICTIONS ON THE DAY OF THE CEREMONY

NO CAFFEINE DRINKS CONSUMED AFTER 9:00 am SO AS NOT TO INHIBIT YOUR EXPERIENCE!

DO NOT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING AFTER 2:00 pm OTHER THAN WATER (coconut water is fine). It is strongly encouraged to have a protein-rich meal earlier in the day, but be done with all foods by 2:00 pm. Eating later will inhibit your experience and could cause stomach upset.

Drink plenty of water throughout the day.

If you have a headache from blood sugar issues from not eating, or from no caffeine after 9:00 am, please drink 2-3 ounces of apple juice or take Advil / Ibuprofen only.

Please contact us immediately if:

you have had surgery, dental treatment or received a vaccine within the previous 3 days; or,
are scheduled to receive one within the following 3 days; or,
you haven't discussed any medication issues with us

If you are a ra'pe, marijuana, or clove smoker, please do not smoke the day of ceremony or the following morning–it can create physical challenges such as fainting, and in rare cases a heart attack, etc. If you need it to help you sleep the night of the journey please let me know as I can offer you a warm magnesium tea. If you are a medicinal daily smoker please speak with us. Thank you for honoring our request.

POST CEREMONY GUIDELINES

It is Recommended to take 5-HTP for 3 days following the ceremony. 5-HTP can be found at your local vitamin shop or whole foods.

If you get sores in your mouth, take 3000 mg of L-lysine for 3 days.
